Yong Ha (Kim) Song- 80 – Jan 13, 1939 – June 10, 2019. Yong went to heaven peacefully at the home of her oldest Son on Monday, June 10th with family by her side. Yong was born in South Korea and moved to the United States in 1974. Married to Suk Choon Song on October 14, 1962.
Yong worked for Disney for 31 years at the Polynesian Luau retiring in December 2005. Her hobbies were gardening; tending to her orchids and knitting or crocheting creations for family and friends; socks, sweaters, hats, etc.
Yong is survived by her husband of 56 years and five Children, Si Y Song (Julie) Merritt Island, FL; Young Sun Faas (Peter) Atlanta, GA; Young Sin McConnell Tallahassee; Ji Yong Song (Alaina) Winter Spings, FL; Young Duk Song, Halcottsville, NY. Five Grandchildren, Alex Faas, Sgt. Conner Song, Ella McConnell and Olivia and Sydney Song. Many nieces and nephews and honorary grandchildren, as well.
Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home – 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL on Thursday, June 13th between 5pm – 7pm. Celebration of Life will be held at Woodlawn on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 11:00am with graveside committal immediately following.
