Services will be held for Betty E. Oswalt at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. Scotty Gibson and Bro. Raymond Wilkinson. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m. until service time in the chapel.
Betty was born in Sutton, AR on December 5, 1932. She was a bus driver for the Bossier Parish for 25 years. She was a member of Airline Baptist Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed working in her yard and all of her beautiful flowerbeds. Betty was the self-proclaimed Mayor of her street. Everyone knew & loved Betty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mal and Muggie Ellis; husband, Billy Joe Oswalt; son-in-law, Travis White and sister, Alma Dillard.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Janice White and Vicki Allen and husband Roger; sons, Rusty Oswalt and wife Kim, Randy Oswalt and wife Jackie, Rowdy Oswalt, and Reggie Oswalt and wife Pam; 27 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren and her sister, Nell Butler.
Pallbearers will be Kevin White, Jeff Randall, Brandon Oswalt, Jason Oswalt, Colt Oswalt and Trent Oswalt.
The family would like to thank The Memory Care Cottage and Regional Hospice for the comfort and care they have shown.
