Victor Alvino Guerrero was a wonderful son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend that was loved greatly, is missed, and will always be cherished. After a long fight with renal failure, Victor Guerrero, age 29, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. His family was by his side as he drifted off to be with the Lord and was greeted by those who preceded him in death, his mother Linda R. Guerrero; grandmothers Santos Lopez, Alejandra Rodriguez; grandfathers Fred Guerrero and Secundino Rodriguez Sr.
Victor was born in Austin, TX on November 23, 1989 to Linda R. Guerrero and Adam Guerrero. He is survived by his siblings Victoria Marie Guerrero (Rafael Arriaga), Rosanna Guerrero (Angelo Rivera), and his brother Adam Guerrero (Justin Guerrero). Victor was a devoted father of 4 beautiful children, LilyAnna Justine Guerrero, Joriah Elijah Guerra, Linda Dianne Guerrero, and Victor Alvino Guerrero II. He was a generous and caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be lovingly remembered by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Victor will always be remembered for his strength, courage, generosity, and the way he showed his love for all those around him. Victor had the type of smile and the comedic character that lit up a room. We will forever miss walking into a room and seeing his big smile to greet us.
Victor faithfully looked to God and his bible for comfort and guidance. It is through his faith that he gained the strength he needed to endure his lifelong battle with his illness. Up until his last day he was reading scriptures from his bible, singing Christian songs, and praying with his loved ones. In the face of our own difficult times, we will call on the strength that Victor so effortlessly modeled for us. We know he will guide us, be our loving support and help us find our way, just as he did during his time with us on Earth.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 18, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with prayer service to follow from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress, Austin, TX 78704. Final viewing will be on Wednesday, June 19, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home from 9:00 am-10:00 am. Following, the procession will lead us to Guadalupe Cemetery, 13945 N U.S. Hwy 183, Lockhart, TX 78644 for the burial.
