Bill had been a Warbler since 1955 and also sang with the Alabama Jubilee.
Some of his happiest moments were the day he was saved, the day he married his wife, Yvonne, and the births of his four children, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Bill enjoyed singing with the Warblers and was extremely proud to have performed a comedy routine as Hitt ‘em Straight along with his longtime friend Jim Burton as Richard Flasher in the 1988 reunion show.
Bill loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was blessed by having two loving church families, Eastside Baptist and Providence Baptist.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Yvonne; his four children, Brenda Johnson, Janet Johnson Yeager (Philip), William A. (Bill) Johnson, Jr. (Scarlett), and Carol Johnson (Pam Baggett); eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren with more on the way.
Bill enjoyed telling a good joke and making people laugh. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by many.
