Services for Barbara Sue Washburn, 74, of Frankston, are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with David Darst officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Ms. Washburn passed away June 18, 2019 in Tyler. She was born December 18, 1944 in Dallas to William Augustus and Ethel Gertrude Reynolds Oliver.
Barbara was a member of Hill Creek Baptist Church in Whitehouse. She grew up in the Wilmer-Hutchins area and had lived in Frankston for many years. Barbara loved crafts, going to First Monday Trade Days, garage sales and spending time outdoors. She loved to witness to and share the Lord with people she met.
Ms. Washburn is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ethel Oliver and a granddaughter, Jackie Adams.
Barbara is survived by her four sons and their wives: Derral and Dawn Washburn of Chapel Hill, Scottie and Kathy Washburn of Frankston, Curtis and Kelley Washburn of Flint and Richard and Rachel Washburn of Athens; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jo Ann and Donald Ray Pearson of Mabank; and brother, Donald Lee Oliver of Kingsland.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Hall, David Read, Gordon Golemon, Matt Freeman, Adam Gonzales and Don Pearson.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
