Mary’s life was dedicated to grandchildren and children, and she was kind to so many – always helping others. She worked hard and had great work ethic. Her many roles included a mail carrier, jewelry maker, café owner, crafter, song writer, painter, realtor, animal lover, worked at Kodak early in her career, played the piano, gave lessons and sold keyboards. She laughed at and with friends and family, and often at life in general. What Mary learned was that life is not always fair. She loved people that did not deserve her. She also loved and enjoyed music, crafts, and baking. She always knew that family is the most important thing. Mary would want to be remembered as someone who did anything she could for others, above herself. She loved and trusted the Lord. In addition, most importantly, she would want people to remember how much she loved them.
Mary is survived by her daughters Robin (Vaughn) Baxter and Krissy (John) Belden; her grandchildren Candiss Baxter, Carlee Baxter, Sarah Belden, Jacob Belden; sister Cherie (Ken) Keeler; niece Dawn Todd; nephew Dan Keeler; her dog Prancer.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Mary Suzanne Halcomb's name to your local Humane Socieity.
