Doris McCrae Warren, 88 of Shreveport, LA born on October 15, 1930 joined her Lord on June 24, 2019. Doris was a kind, loving lady, awesome mom and a wonderful Nanny. Nanny was what everyone called her, no matter who they were. She dearly loved her family, especially her two girls. Doris was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Nanny is survived by her children, Teri and Lee Pritchard, and Mitzi Thompson; grandchildren, Courtney and David, Jason and Shellie, Brittney, Katie and Logan; great grandchildren Jalee, Sadie, Wilson, Sawlter, Garrett and Gaven; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, soulmate and love of her life Curtis Warren; her parents, Walter and Alice McCrae; and two sisters, Ruth Leggett and Barbara Middleton.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will occur Friday, June 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Centuries with an interment to follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Pastor Chris Hough will be officiating the services. Honoring Ms. Doris as pallbearers will be David Owens, Logan Smith, Walter Middleton, Joe Rhodes, Steve Burns and Eric Brumley. Honorary pallbearer will be Ben Politz.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to niece, Annette and Joe Rhodes for their love and support and also a special thanks to Kia, Sally, Gloria and Rosalind and others at the Montclair Park Assisted Living Facility for their great care of Nanny during her stay.
