She was born on October 10, 2016 at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston to Matt and Brooke Young. She came into the world already a fighter after being diagnosed in utero with a Congenital Pulmonary Airway Malformation. After lung surgery at 3 days old and 3 weeks in the NICU, she came home to College Station where she grew into a strong and vibrant little girl.
Kameryn was a pure ray of sunshine. She had the most beautiful blue eyes and an incredibly contagious smile. She was always going at “full speed” which earned her the nickname Hurricane Kam. She was known by many people in her community because she was always walking up to people and saying “Hi! Whas yo name?” and giving them that sweet smile.
She enjoyed going to preschool, playing with friends and cousins, baby dolls, sidewalk chalk, blowing bubbles, and eating candy. She and her big sister Kristine loved each other very much.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Sheryl Pace and her great-grandfathers, James Marion Rosier and Herbert L. Young Sr.
She has a multitude of loved ones who will forever cherish her memory: her parents, Matt and Brooke Young; her big sister, Kristine Young; her maternal grandparents, Lisa and Todd Cleveland and Pat and Joanie Pace; her paternal grandparents, Larry and Beverly Young; her great-grandparents, Buddy and Mary Frances Zemanek, Nick Pace, Bertie Young, and Martha Rosier; her aunts and uncles, Chrysa and Caleb Bondurant, Michael Beck, Crystal and Mark Schinzler, Lindy and Chris Beasley; her cousins, Weston and Wyatt Beasley, Deliah, Damaris, and Denton Schinzler; numerous second cousins and special family friends.
Memorial donations may be made in Kameryn's memory to a charity of choice.
