Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Freddy and Emily Taylor; wife, Betty; siblings, Marie, Hazel, Gertrude, Jim; and granddaughter, Crystal.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his two sons, Bob (Sue) Taylor, Tom (Angie) Taylor; two daughters, Jane (Tim) Gauss, Lisa Taylor; grandchildren, Matt, Ben, Rocky (Danielle), Ken (Verity), Tim (Jen), Adam, Kayla (Luke), William, Ricky, Katy, Joe, Sam, Alison; great-grandchildren, , Haiden, Damian, Lydia, Wyatt, Jason, Aubree, Braelee, Chloe; 4 brothers, Robert, Bud, Doug, Bill; and dog Ticky.
Thomas grew up in Arkansas then moved to Michigan in 1955 for factory work. He was very hard working. Thomas retired from Motor Wheel after many years of service.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Summit Cemetery in Williamston. The family will receive friends from 10-12 noon at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston, MI 48895 prior to the graveside service.
