Thomas “Tom” John Krumenacker, 77 years old, died peacefully with his family at his side on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL. He was preceded in death by his Father Charles Krumenacker, Mother Elizabeth Krumenacker, Brother Charles Krumenacker, and Son Danny Krumenacker. He was loved as a husband, father, papa, tomtom, brother, uncle and friend.
Tom was born on September 24, 1941, in Floral Park, NY. He served as a reservist in the US Army. Tom was retired and spent considerable time traveling and fishing with his wife of 16 years, Tommie L. Walters. Tom was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed golf, sailing, fishing, hunting, and was an excellent marksman.
Tom loved to teach his skills to others and imparted his considerable knowledge of golf, hunting and fishing with all he encountered but especially loved sharing his joy with his children, grandchildren, and friends. Tom was a natural leader and enjoyed multiple friendships spanning many years and many places. He was a natural storyteller and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving family members include: his cherished wife: Tommie L. Walters, Lake Worth, FL; beloved children: George, West Palm Beach, FL; Thomas Charles, West Palm Beach, FL; Cherie Stankiewicz (David), West Palm Beach, FL; James, Boynton Beach, FL; sister: Jo Anne, Boynton Beach, FL; Grandchildren: Rein, Lainie, Danielle, Taylor, Tiffany, Lilith, Dan Jr., Kristen, David, Joshua, Emma and Maci; Nieces: Dawn, Debbie and Donna; Nephew: Charles; and numerous dearly loved, great grandchildren, a great niece and great nephews.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Florida Gardens Baptist Church, 7800 Lake Worth Road, Lake Worth, FL 33467. A special time of remembrance will be held at 6:30 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11 AM at Florida Gardens Baptist Church and lunch will be served immediately following in the Church Reception Hall.
