Cole McAfee Hagood, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 6th, 2019.
Cole was born in Atlanta and was a 2013 graduate of The Lovett School where he played football, lacrosse, and soccer and was a member of the wresting team as well as a mens bible study and Young Life. Growing up, Camp Rockmont was always a happy place for him. Cole later attended The University of Georgia where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. At the time of his death, Cole was employed by Shiplify and was a student at Georgia State University.
Cole is survived by his mother, Peggy Wardle Hagood, his sister, Megan Hagood, his grandparents, Nancy and Charles Wardle, all of Atlanta, and his maternal aunt, Holly Wardle, of Jackson, Wyoming and their extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Hagood, and is survived by his grandmother, Peggy Lukken, and his aunt, Kim Myers (Richard) and their children, Anna and Sophie, all of LaGrange, Georgia. He is also survived by his grandfather, Charles Hagood (Cindy) of Dacula, Georgia, and their extended families.
In addition, Cole is survived by his stepmother, Elizabeth Paris Hagood, and her sons, Robert and William Brooks, of Atlanta, and their extended family.
Cole was deeply loved by his family, and the many friends he touched during his brief life, and he will be greatly missed. A private service for immediate family will be held at a later date.
