Deborah Lynn Turner

Debbie, as she affectionately was known as, went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2019. She was 61 years young. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind the one true love of her life, Gerald; they had been married 33 years; her children, whom she cherished, Misty (Paulo) Amaya, Levi (Danielle) Turner, and Liberty (Lacey) Turner. She had 5 grandchildren whom she adored, Adacia, Isaac, Rio, Dublin, and Sky. She is survived by brother, Tony Galyean; sisters, Jan Galyean, Ina (Phil) Olson, Charlotte (John) DiIorio, and Diane Ward; special aunt and uncle, Barbara and Ikie Caudell; and best friends Rita and Jose Flores. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she also adored. Debbie loved life and it showed in everything she did. Debbie did many projects inside and outside their home. Their home was her labor of love. You can be sure there were many fine details in everything she did. She worked as hard as any man, but she was as feminine and beautiful as any woman. She nursed baby cows, sheep, kittens, horses and her favorite dog Hope to health. She did not die without a fight. She fought the cancer until her last breath had been taken. She did not die with a lot of riches in the bank; she spent what she made on family vacations, or on whatever her family needed. No one ever went hungry or homeless with Debbie around. To know her was to love her and we are going to miss her more than any words can describe. In lieu of food and flowers please make a donation in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Imperial Funeral Home.
