Stanley was a proud veteran of the US Army and a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Guthrie. He retired as a plant manager with Holnam Cement.
Stanley loved to be outside. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, upholstery work, and cooking. His family’s favorite dishes were his enchiladas, butterscotch pie, and banana pudding. He played the guitar and sang, primarily gospel music. And he never met a stranger. Most of all, he loved his God and his family.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Virgil, Ronnie, Mike, Gary, and Jenny; and children: Debbie Birdwell, Cindy Kemp, and Maurice Cummins. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 69 years, Mary Cummins; siblilngs: Shirley (Grant) Knowles of Crawfordsville, IN, Earl Cummins of Port St. Lucie, FL, Arvin Cummins of Port St. Lucie, FL, Norman (Rita) Cummins of Jasper, AL, Bonita (Ed) Linz of Port St. Lucie, FL, Terry (Theresa) Cummins of Crawfordsville, IN, and Phil (Linda) Cummins of Port St. Lucie, FL; children: Dennis (Judy) Cash of Edmond, OK, Brenda Deal of Ravia, OK, Donnie (Billie) Cummins of Amarillo, TX, Joyce (Pete) Conaway of Edmond, OK, Jo (Ken) Ledford of Springhill, KS, Rhonda (Tim) Flowers of Amarillo, TX, and Kevin (Deanna) Cummins of Edmond, OK; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; many other family members and friends; and his beloved dog, Baby Cummins.
