Frederick was born February 15, 1928 to Frederick Sr. and Daisy E. (Mark) Shedd in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He passed away July 24, 2019 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Frederick enlisted in the Marines and served during WWII. He often was called to play the bugle during military funerals. Frederick met the love of his life, Frankie, when he called Southwestern Bell for an operator. They married March 8, 1952. Frederick and Frankie traveled the world together. Frederick lost Frankie on January 9, 2017 when she passed away. Following his military career, Frederick became a manager for Western Union for many years. He was a member of both the Shriners and the Masons, achieving some of the highest ranks of the Orders. Frederick was known as a regular at the All American Diner, his favorite place to get a bite to eat. He was also a talented trumpet player, and had played for a big band orchestra.
Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Sr. and Daisy Shedd; and his wife, Frankie L. Shedd. A graveside service will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, July 29, 2019 at Luther Cemetery, 19990 N. Peebly Rd., Luther, Oklahoma 73054.
