Born August 31st, 1949 in Ontario, Canada she was the daughter of Joseph and Clara Babaian. An artist, a gypsy, a mystic and a poet, not to mention extremely lucky on the slots, Loretta lived a life of adventure, love and laughter. She lived in many places throughout her life, but found her forever home in Texas, along with her forever love, her husband Vale Roush.
She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren, with Halloween being a special holiday that they celebrated throughout the years. No matter the distance, be it Texas or Kentucky, she brought the creatitvy and magic to them all, just as she did with everyone else in her life.
Her own majic happened when she met Vale the love of her life. Loretta was never as happy as she was standing by his side. The years she spent with her husband Vale were the happiest of her life.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Davey Babaian; sisters, Carolynn Babaian and Marilynn DeAngelo. She leaves behind her loving husband Vale Roush; son, Thomas Rueger; daughters, Antoinette Bejko (Dritan), Jessica Peel and Kelly Seirra; grandchildren, Ashley, Elijah, David, Isabela and Chloe; sister, Annette Kreuger; brother, Joseph Babaian; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at at 2:00 PM Saturday August 3rd, 2019 in the chapel of Katy Funeral Home 23350 Kingsland Blvd. KATY TX. 77384, followed by an onsite reception.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Loretta's name to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
