Mariapalma M Lewis

Mariapalma Lewis, of Acme, MI, passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2019. "Pam", as she was known to friends and family, had an infectious smile and spread joy wherever she went. She loved children and animals. Her career choices within the education system brought hundreds of children into her world, and allowed her to form joyous lasting friendships with so many young people as they matured into adulthood and had children of their own. Throughout her lifetime, she also cared for countless cats and dogs who came into her care under various dire circumstances, and re-homed them with loving families. Pam will be deeply missed by her family, and by all who knew her, regardless of how many legs they walk upon through life. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 7th, 2019 at the Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City, MI at 3:00 PM, with the burial at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
