George Dunich, age 102 of Burton, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Office of Christian Burial will be 10am on Monday, August 5, 2019 at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 2333 N. Elms Rd., Flushing. The Very Rev. James Batcha celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 2-8pm on Sunday, August 4, 2019 with a Celebration of Life at 6:30pm and a Parastas Service (wake) at 7pm at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing. The family will receive visitors again on Monday at church, one half hour prior to the service, beginning at 9:30am. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church. George was born on April 10, 1917 in Flint, MI the son of William and Mary (Dobrosky) Dunich. He was employed as a line worker at A.C. Spark Plug until his retirement. George was a faithful and lifelong member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church. Throughout his life George loved his family, the Detroit Lions and Tigers, playing golf and bowling. Surviving are his sisters: Julia Bisaha, Pauline (Richard) Norman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers: Michael Dunich, Steve Dunich; sisters: Mary Dunich, Helen Carr, and Anna Mayberry; uncle, Michael Dobrosky.
