Andy was born on April 19, 1976. His childhood was spent growing up in Pensacola, FL and as an adult, he enjoyed living in Clemmons, NC. He was a graduate of University of South Alabama with a degree in Computer Science. He took pride in working as a computer programmer for the accounting department at the Womble Bond Dickinson Law Firm in Winston-Salem, NC. Andy enjoyed taking walks in Tanglewood Park, playing video games with his daughter, and playing Magic the Gathering card games with his friends. He loved to laugh at a witty joke, make others laugh with a not-so witty joke, and enjoyed a good BBQ.
Andy was a devoted husband to his wife, Margaret Renae Hubbard, and a loving father to his daughter, Lillian Rachel Hubbard. He was preceded in death by his father, Veteran Harlan Gale (Michael) Hubbard. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Ann Placko Hubbard. Andy enjoyed time with his brothers, Joseph (Joe) Hubbard and Charles (Charlie) Hubbard from Greenville, SC. Andy cherished Charlie’s family: Sister-in-Law Amanda Hubbard, Nephew Asa and Niece Clover. His wife’s family will also miss Andy: Bradley (Brad) Bullock and Deborah (Debbie) Bullock from Tupelo, MS and their son Benjamin Bullock and his wife Laura Moore Bullock from Byrum, MS. Andy was also close to his longtime friends Matthew Smith and John Haynes. Andy had a large extended family that included many close friends. He enjoyed holidays and reunions, eating great food, and playing games with those he loved.
The family and friends will have a Memorial Celebration, meeting at Tanglewood Park, Shelter 4, at 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 11. If attending, please RSVP to [email protected].
