Lucille was born June 22, 1925 in Canton, Ohio to Lester and Minnie Mizer. She went to Lincoln High School. She was a member of the Canton Eagles Club and attended Faith United Church of Christ in Brewster. She enjoyed golf, bowling, and the Cleveland Indians.
She is preceded by her parents, her sister Doris Bair, grandson Michael Jones, husband James F. Handschumacher Sr., and son-in-law Jan Jones.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Jones, and son James F. (Karin) Handschumacher Jr., grandchildren; Douglas (Leigh) Handschumacher, Tracie Pierpont, and Jeffrey (Jill) Handschumacher, great grandchildren; Mason Pierpont, Blake, Ashley, Chloe, Jenna, and Julia Handschumacher, brother Wayne (Kay) Mizer, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Faith United Church of Christ in Brewster.
