Wendell R. Kemper, age 70, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Wednesday August 7, 2019 at his residence. Wendell was born in Corbin, KY on September 14, 1948 to M. Opal (Owens) Kemper Eldridge and Jack Kemper.
Wendell was formerly employed with General Motors, Delco Products Division. He was a member and Past Master of Alpha Lodge #729 F&AM, member and Past High Priest of Unity Chapter #16, member and Past Illustrious Master of Adoniram Council, 32 degree Mason at A.A.S. R. Valley of Dayton, member and Past Commander of Valley Commandry, member of Knights Mason USA,member and Past Governor of Moose Lodge #1645 in Miamisburg.
Wendell is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cindy (Cox) Kemper; daughter Tracy Epstein; son Chris (Rumiko) Cox; daughter Laura (Nick) Conover; son David (Chelsie) Kemper; and son Grant (Sallie) Kemper; 12 grandchildren, mother-in-law Eva Mae Cox; brother Wayne (Dianne) Kemper, sister Karen Kemper, brother Jack (Kathy) Kemper, sister Joyce Bryant, brother-in-law and best friend David Steele, and brother-in-law Marty (Robin) Cox; half brother Randy (Rita) Eldridge and half sister, Sheila Eldridge Martin
Wendell was preceded in death by; father Jack Kemper; mother M. Opal (Owens) Eldridge and father-in-law Dale Cox; sister Sharon Steele; and brother-in-law Kenny Bryant; step father, J.B. Eldridge and step mother, Hazel Kemper.
A visitation for Wendell will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Masonic service at 7:30 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH. to "The Funeral Service will be 10am Thursday August 15, 2019 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Miamisburg with Pastor Robyn Provis officiating, with a Scottish Rite Ring service. A Private Graveside Service will be in New Market Baptist Church Cemetery with Karen Kemper officiating.
