She was a graduate of Chattanooga Central High School and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
Mrs. Estes retired from Scott Equipment Company after many years of service. She loved crafts and painting with her “Frogmore Sisters”.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Estes, Jr.; son-in-law, Bill Ridge; and brother-in-law, Sydney Johnson, and a nephew, Jon King.
Survivors include her children, Frank (Denise) Reed and Bobby (Pam) Reed, of Ooltewah, and Cheryl Ridge of Knoxville; siblings, Robert (Barbara) King, Jr. of Cleveland, James (Ann) King and Frances Johnson of East Ridge; grandchildren, Hope(Dennis) Rhinehart, Robby (Angela) Reed, Amy (Neil) Highfield, Jeremy (Jennifer) Ridge, Dana (Jason) Mull, and Kristen (Jason) Harding; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August, 15, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, August 16, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August, 16, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Rev. Mike Steele officiating.
Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. Pallbearers will be Robby Reed, Neil Highfield, Seth Highfield, Jeremy Ridge, Jason Harding, and Jason Mull.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Estes’ memory to Crossroads Baptist Church, (Women’s Ministry), 9122 Ooltewah/Georgetown Road, Ooltewah, TN 37363.
