Born in Bridgeport CT, on June 6th, 1967, she was the daughter of Rachael and Robert Fuchs. She attended Abbott Tech for Hairdressing before graduating in 1985. She then went on to work at United Beauty Supply as a secretary until the birth of her son, when she was able to stay at home to raise him.
Arlene was an avid crafter and coupon clipper, always on the lookout for a deal or sale. She loved to sit on her back porch and watch the hummingbirds with her dogs, Daisy and Dudley. Arlene could always find the positive side of any situation and had the answers that no one else could figure out. She loved dogs and cats, but her dogs were the light in her eyes, she was always looking for new dogs to adopt. There wasn’t a week that would go by without her pointing out a new dog that needed to be adopted.
She is survived by her loving husband David Bunnell, her son David Bunnell Jr. both of Monroe, CT, stepchildren Melanie Bunnell and fiancée Ken Armstrong of Waterford, CT, Jason and Naideen Bunnell of Groton, CT and her sister Lori and George Appleby of Newtown CT, her grandchildren Kalika, Jason and Alyssa Northrop of Waterford, CT and Alana Corey of Groton, CT, John and Tammy Bunnell of Niantic, Lenny and Deonn Bunnell of Montville CT, Robert and Linda Bunnell of CT and Cynthia and David Brown of Waterford CT.
