It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Chapman on August 30, 2019, 5 hours before her birthday at Sunrise Senior Living. Patricia was born in Fareham, England. In 1962 they came to Canada and settled in Windsor where George taught at Patterson and Kennedy Collegiates. Later they enjoyed their trips to Florida and visits to England. After George passed (1989), Patricia remained in Canada taking occasional trips back home and continuing to golf and play bridge at Beach Grove Golf & Country Club. Dear mother of Susan Miller and grandmother of Brian (Lisa), Ian (Christine), and Alan. Jane too. She was also blessed with 5 great-grandchildren: Brittany, Robert, Matthew, Brett and Georgia. (Named after George)
The family would like to thank all the staff at Sunrise Senior Living for their exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time. Also the St. Elizabeth Nurses and LHIN were invaluable in their support. At Patricia's request, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering was held. At a later date, Patricia will be buried in Warsash, England. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor - Essex County Humane Society or Erie Wildlife.
