Born and raised in Brooklyn, he lived on Staten Island for 27 years before moving to Jackson in 2006.
Prior to retiring, he was in health care laundry services sales, most recently for Angelica Services on Long Island, NY.
Mr. Lisnow was an Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife Jacqueline; his children Jeffrey Lisnow and his wife Anita of Millstone, NJ, David Lisnow of Long Island, NY, and Elyse Levine and her husband David of Livingston, NJ; his sister Marilyn Silver and her husband Bruce; his brother Neil Lisnow and his wife Carol; and his grandchildren Jordan, Emma, Rose, and Grady.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 11AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan. A committal service will follow at 1:30PM at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org), or Trees for Israel (www.usa.jnf.org).
The period of mourning will be observed at the family's residence on Wednesday from 7-9pm, and Thursday and Friday from 1-5 & 7-9PM.
