Vicki Jean Larson was born 68 years ago in Detroit, MI to Carl and Audrey Larson. She was the middle child with older brother, Chuck and younger sister, Joan. They lived on the east side of Detroit, part of the Parkgrove families of Larsons, Housers, Baumgarts, and Isaacsons. She attended Columbus elementary/middle School, Edwin Denby High School (Class of Jan/1969) and Macomb Community College.
Vicki developed her love of travel at 18 on an infamous backpacking trip through Europe with her girlfriends. She went to Luxembourg, France, Spain, Morocco, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden.
She was preceded in death by her former partner of 20 years, Eva Reese.
Vicki retired from the Ameritech Phone company after 40 years and has prepared taxes for H.R. Block for 20 years.
Vicki continued her love of travel with her life partner of 33 years, Sharon Tumminello. They did 9 Caribbean cruises, East coast to Prince Edward Island, Las Vegas, California, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, and Panama. Vicki enjoyed traveling around Michigan taking pictures of nature and lighthouses. Vicki loved their animal babies. Especially her beloved dog: Bella and cats: Hobbs and Juice. She had a reputation of being a "Fashionista" and always coordinating her clothes, jewelry, purses and shoes perfectly.
Vicki loved her sister's family (Joan Scott/Tom), Nephew (Jeff Scott/Katie) Niece (Jenny Scott) and great-niece (Brooklyn Scott) very much. She enjoyed time spent at the family cottage on Lake St. Clair. She also enjoyed visits to her brother, Chuck Larson of California. She is also survived by loved ones (Dion, Dawn, Matt, Cali Tumminello) (Joe, Sara, Jeremiah, Nathan, Olivia Tumminello) and (Andy, Wendy, ShawnaLee Lux). In addition, her Godson, Karl Bandemer, living in Germany and numerous friends. Vicki's ability to make every situation fun and her love of life will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
