There’s so many memoriesI have of Sam on and off the baseball field but mostly on the field. I was fortunate enough to play a game we all love with Sam. I’ve attached a photo of our team one of the many years we played together.  

I had the great pleasure of meeting Sam in 2011, and I clearly remember his sense of humor and passion for coaching. Sam, your passing comes as a complete shock, but you will forever be remembered. To the family, my prayers are with you. May God give you the strength needed and the reassurance that life after death is paradise.

I was so thankful to have the opportunity to get to know Sam as one of our parents at the FCC CDC lab. He was a great Dad to Cal and a very comfortable person to talk with when he was either coming in with Cal or picking him up. I know he is greatly missed and very loved.

Sam was a great teammate. We played baseball at Edison. Prayers and deepest sympathy to his family, friends, and community.
