Ada Jayne Knowles

Mrs. Knowles was raised in Satartia, MS. She graduated from Perkinston Jr College and attended University of Mississippi.

She was married on August 6, 1949 at Little Flower Catholic Church in Mobile, Al., She worked at Commercial Credit and Bell South Telephone Company from 1956 to 1964.

Mrs. Knowles was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Louis Joseph Knowles; her parents, Eustace J. and Senez Childress Hunt and a brother, Lt. William E. Hunt.

She is survived by her son, Louis C. (Dana) Knowles; daughters, Patricia (Ray) Gibson, Priscilla (Tommy) Burges and Margaret (Bruce) Miller; grandchildren, Brian (Caroline) Knowles, Jennifer (Christopher) Levy, Marc Miller, Jessie Miller and Marie (Cristian) Escobar; her sister, Mable Clair Hunt Reeves and four great grandchildren, Hanna, Christopher, Blain and Taylor. Also, survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home, Mobile, AL. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery West, Mobile, AL.
