Virginia A. von Pechmann was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 23, 1941 to parents Marvin Aaron and Rosa Finch Aaron. In 1959, Virginia graduated from South San High School and later attended San Antonio College. After moving to California, she married Heinz “Hank” A. von Pechmann on October 23, 1971. Shortly after, the couple moved to Texas and made Houston their home. Hank and “VA” (as he would call her) started a life of entrepreneurship and with their beloved dogs, they would enjoy making friends and memories together for years to come.
Although Virginia didn’t have children of her own, she took a special interest in the lives of her family and friends. She loved making strangers into friends; if you were an acquaintance of hers, you would soon be on her mailing list or receiving special gifts. Her passion was taking care of the people around her. Most recently, Virginia relied on help from her closest friends and on behalf of her family, we sincerely thank her friends of Houston for caring for our sister and aunt.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Hank von Pechmann and her parents Marvin and Rosa Aaron. She is survived by her three brothers: Marvin Aaron of New Braunfels, TX, Frank Aaron of Kingsland, TX and Claude Aaron of Pleasanton, TX. Also by her sister, Elaine Farris of Kingsland, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Please join her family and friends to celebrate her life on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019 at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Fwy. Houston, TX. Visitation at 4:00-6:00pm; Service starting at 6:00 and a reception to follow. The burial will take place at 1:30pm on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet, TX with a reception to follow at the Kingsland Community Center.
