Lonie Jean Crum, age 76, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Lakebridge Health Care Center. She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Charlie Branch and Alice Smithpeters Branch.
She was preceded in death by, Husband, Bill A Crum, Daughter: Sarah Johnson, Grandson: Billy Jack Crum, Great Granddaughters: Krystiana Crum and Jada Brook Crum and Great Grandson: Spencer Crum.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruby Jones and her husband David; and one son, Billy Crum and his wife Lisa; her grandchildren, Angela Jackson and her husband Anthony, Justin Jones, Little Robert Johnson, Charlie Crum and his wife Lisa, Bryan Crum and his wife Bailey, Jessica Johnson,
Miranda Johnson, and Chris Crum and his wife Dana; 13 great grand children and 1 on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Lakebridge nursing home for the love and care shown for Lonie over the past few years. A very special thank you to her nurses Julie, Rebecca, and Cheyenne. Lonie loved each of you dearly. Thank you for showing her love and kindness. We know you each will keep her memory alive.
Lonie leaves behind her very best friends La’Tosha Leeper, and Janice. Thank you La’Tosha and Janice for loving Mom unconditionally. For always being there any time, she needed you. For just sitting and cuddling with her. She loved you so much more than you will ever know. She will always be YOUR Lonie Bug.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM with her grandson in law Anthony Jackson officiating. Special music will be provided by her Granddaughter Angela Jackson and her Great Granddaughter Ariaya Jackson. Committal Service and Interment will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 4, 2019 at Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Jones, Justin Jones, Charlie Crum, Bryan Crum, Little Robert Johnson, and Matthew Crum.
Family and friends may also gather at any time until 8:30pm at the home of his daughter and son in law, Ruby and David Jones, 307 Holly Street, Johnson City, TN.
