Patricia Lannette (Hicks) Burns, age 78 of West Blocton, AL died on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at UAB Medical West Bessemer, AL. She was born on September 20, 1941 in Bibb County AL to Howard and Etoyle (Oglesby) Hicks. She married Ronald Burns, Sr. on December 24, 1957. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and Granny.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ronald Burns, Sr.; her sons, Ronnie Burns and Mark Burns; her parents, Howard and Etoyle Hicks; brothers, Jan Hicks and Randy Hicks. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Burns Ryals(Vinson) of West Blocton, AL; daughter in law, Libby Rotenberry Burns of Woodstock, AL; brother, Bobby Hicks of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Stacy Reach Carroll, Angie Burns Griffin(Ken), Kristie Moore Peak(Zeke), Lana Burns Kinard(Loran); great grandchildren, Kelsey, Brody and Kaleigh Carroll, Austin and Hannah Griffin, Braden and Alyssa Peak, Wes and Kimber Kinard.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 3 PM at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Centreville, AL. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM. Burial will be at Kinard Cemetery in West Blocton, AL. Rev. Ken Blake and Rev. Ben Corley officiating.
