James Fred Miller, 82, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019. He was surrounded by his family. He was born on November 26, 1936 in San Pedro, California to parents John and Ruby. James is survived by his daughter, Kimberley A. Miller (Graff), and two grandsons, Hunter James and Dylan Joseph.
James was honorably discharged from the United States Naval Reserve on October 8, 1962 after serving 8 years as an EM3 working primarily on submarines. Upon discharge, Jim worked for the Boeing Company for 30+ years, in their Quality Control department. Jim was a longtime resident of Pennsylvania and spent time in his later years in both Florida and Georgia.
Jim had a love for hot rod cars, building and fixing things. He also loved his soccer and his family. Jim’s final resting place will be with his mother and father in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
