Bro. Art Bambraugh was a Christian gentleman and servant of the Lord. He and his brother Joe were life long members of Mt Washington Baptist Church.  They both held the arms of this preacher in keeping the old lighthouse doors open on the hill in Pittsburgh. Their mother Anna Bambraugh raised two outstanding men. Bro. Art was my deacon, my brother in the Lord and dear friend. He knew everything you wanted to know about Pittsburgh and many of the greats during his generation. He and his brother were inseparable and an honor to know. Now they along with many of the departed saints from our church are having a grand reunion in glory. I’m sure Art received his “well done thou good and faithful servant” from his dear precious Saviour. Until we meet again; so long Bro. Art!

Thinking of you ALL at this very difficult time.  Mike and I are so sorry that we are unable to make the trip for the Memorial Service but please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathies to Linda and Tiffany, and their families. Art was a caring man and great storyteller. I will never forget our visits on Mt. Washington. Art lived a colorful life and enjoyed reminiscing about the old days. He was a pleasure to be around, and listening to his tales always put a smile on my face. He will be missed by many.
