Kelly is survived by her husband, Calvin E. Davidson and the two joys of her life, her sons Zachary and Justin Davidson. She is also survived by her mother, Judy Martin; her sister, JoLynn Salazar (Benjamin Salazar); her brother-in-law David Davidson; five nephews, two nieces and numerous extended family members.
Kelly is preceded in death by her father, Howard Martin; her paternal and maternal grandparents.
She also leaves behind many close friends including her guardian angel, Michelle Castillo, whose unwavering friendship and love meant everything to Kelly and her family.
Kelly was born and raised in Corpus Christi and graduated from Carroll High School. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother to her two sons. Kelly dedicated her life to her sons and ensuring that they had every opportunity available to them.
She was an advocate for her sons and every child with special needs. Kelly was a huge supporter and participant in the Special Olympics and the Miracle League as well as actively involved in the FFA program at Veterans Memorial High School.
Kelly, will always be remembered for her smile, laughter and enormous giving spirit. Kelly will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The following will be pallbearers: Ruben Barrera, Juan Castillo, Joe Alvarado, Robert Flores, Jr., Paul Aguayo and Ben Salazar.
