Chris James Chantly, 70, of Dallas, Texas was born on February 9, 1949. He attended North Dallas High School and various Community Colleges in Dallas, Texas. In 1969, Chris served in the US Army in Vietnam.
Chris worked in Insurance Sales, Real Estate, and sold cars. He was a Super Fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his father, James N. Chantly of Terpsithea, Nafpaktos, Greece, Mother Vassiliki Chantly of Patras, Greece, infant sister Maria, and brother Nicky.
Chris is survived by his sisters, Maria Chantly of Dallas, TX and Pauline (Ted) Koinis of Pearland, TX; his Niece Stacis (Matthew) Koinis-Milanese of Dickinson, TX; Nephews, James (Valeria) Koinis and Nicholas Koinis of Pearland, TX; and Great Niece Artemis Belle Koinis. He is also survived by many cousins in the Tom L. Fox and Nick L. Fox family.
Prayer Service (Trisagion) will be at 6:00pm on Sunday, October 27, 2019, and the funeral arrangements will be held at 9:00am on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church located at 13555 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, Texas 75240. Father Peter Kostakis and Father Mark Pakes presiding.
