He was born September 20, 1919 in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Anton and Sophie Maciejczuk.
Walter served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He was part of the D-Day invasion at Utah Beach in Normandy.
Walter was proud of his career at General Motors where he rose to the upper ranks of managerial supervision at Hyatt Roller Bearing in Clark, NJ.
He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, trips down the shore and bowling but most important to him was spending time with his family. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Walter was survived by his son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, their spouses, and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Walter will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 12:00 PM at St. Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067.
