Adam Golas, 76, beloved husband of Bonnie Golas, of Farmington, passed away on Nov. 1, 2019. He was born in Poland and was son to the late Wladyslaw and Bronislawa (Krawczyk) Golas. Adam was the owner of ZAG Machine and Tool Co. in New Britain. Adam was a very generous and strong supporter of the Polish-American community and organizations.
Adam enjoyed traveling and dining, riding his Harley and spending time by the ocean with family and friends. He also will be remembered for his passion of history and strong love of animals, especially his fur baby, Daisy.
In addition to his wife Bonnie, he is also survived and will be missed by, a brother, Slawomir Golas and his wife, Krystyna, and their predeceased son, Chris Golas, his cousins, Genevieve and her husband Dr. Dick Risinger and many dear family and friends.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff of UConn Health for their compassionate care.
A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019 from 5-8pm at New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 at 8:30am at the funeral home, for a brief gathering, followed by his funeral liturgy at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. For directions or online messages, visit newbritainsagarino.com.
