Brady Dockery Jr., age 91, of Fort Worth, Texas was born February 26, 1928 Malakoff, Texas. He was the only oldest son to the late Brady and Ethel Dockery, Sr. For me to live is Christ and to die is gain as much as he was loved by all, Brady was called home by God on Saturday, morning November 2, 2019. He flew away to be with his beautiful wife. We will comfort our selves with memories and thank God for having allowed us to know such a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, cousin and friend. Brady accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and became a member at First Baptist in Malakoff, Texas. Upon moving to Fort Worth, Texas he united with Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board, Men Ministry and the Chosen Generation Ministry. He remained a faithful and dedicated member until passing. In his profession he was a Air Craft Mechanic, Mr. Dockery retired after serving more than 20 plus years in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sargent. Brady met Patsy Lee Hodges as his soul mate for 39 years. from this union one child Christopher Dockery was born.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving children, Donald Ray Jackson, Helen Fay Howard (Joe), Torris Dockery (Joyce), Bobby Givens (Rhonda) and Christopher Dockery (LaChandra); sisters, Rachel Smith (Henry) and Pamela Harper; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
