The second was as a Field Project Supervisor for the Gamble Corporation, setting up hardware stores in the 5-state area and beyond. The third was managing and caretaking apartment complexes. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking and creating toys for children. He also enjoyed helping make and fix things for his neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores; parents, Ernest and Daisy; brothers, Gene Marvin, Leon, Dale; and two baby sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Bill) Distad; sister, Consie Barnard; brother, Paul (Judy); many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be missed. Memorials to Salvation Army.
