Geraldine was born on January 19, 1940, in Sipsey, Alabama to Annie and ArtisRobinson.
Geraldine spent most of her childhood in Alabama, later moving to Brooklyn, New York, where she fell in love and married James Evans. Her hobbies and interests were going to church and drinking tea. Also, if you knew her, then you’d know she loved her scratch offs.
Left in memory by children, James Evans; grandchildren, Domineré Evans, Christine Evans, and Hope Evans; sisters, nieces/nephews, and friends.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, James Evans; her daughter, Christine Evans; her parents, Annie and Artis Robinson.
Geraldine was such a loving person, and she’d sacrifice her last to make others happy. She presented the true meaning of lead by example. Her wisdom was unmatched, and her soul was pure. With her mother-like attributes, everyone recognized her as a mother figure. Her love will forever be in our hearts. We will miss you.
