He was born on April 10, 1930, a member of the Diana Church of Christ, and a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a Farmer and also retired from Inner City Products. He was also a member of the Frankewing Lions Club and Woodmen of The World. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hurshall Gaston and Sara Helen Creecy Doggett, his wife, Mary Brown Doggett, his brothers, Thomas Doggett and wife Helen, and Ronald Doggett, his sister, Dorothy Doggett Short and husband Paul, and his brother in law, Jimmy York.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019. Burial to follow at Diana Cemetery.
Survivors include his son, Mickey Doggett and wife Nancy of the Beech Hill Community, his daughters, Yolanda Murray and John of Lewisburg, TN and Tanywa Hobbs of Ardmore, TN, his sisters, Juanita Farrar (Leonard) of Pulaski and Annette York of Nashville, TN, his grandchildren, Jason Doggett and wife Kim, Jeremy Doggett and Kadie, and Stratton Hobbs, and his great grandchildren, Maddie Claire Doggett, Cooper Doggett and Maverick Doggett.
