He is survived by his loving wife Marie Tschieder. His three children Paul Jr. (Joyce)
Tschieder, Sharon (Martin) Hudson, Ken Tschieder and his seven grandchildren
Matthew, Nicholas, Luke, Jared, Hayden, Molly and Cole. He is also survived by his
siblings, John (Sue) Tschieder, MaryKay Longo, Bernadette (Pietro) Riva, Tom (Nancy)
Tschieder and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Mary and Frank Tschieder, infant
granddaughter Emily Grace Tschieder, brother-in-law Stephano Longo.
Paul was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He began working at Wegmans
Supermarkets where he was a store manager there for many years. He changed
careers and was employed with Rochester Telephone until his retirement. Paul a
veteran, serving in the Army division.
Paul was an incredibly loving and devoted husband, father and adored his
grandchildren. He will be missed more than words can express.
Paul made friends with whoever he met. He was beloved by his neighbors and
co-workers.
He loved being outdoors with nature. He had a natural green thumb and truly enjoyed
gardening, he could grow anything. He also enjoyed carpentry. His most recent hobby
was building and painting bird houses. His happiest time spent was with his family and
especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00pm on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Culley’s
MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be held at 11:00am on November 26, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic
Church with a reception following in the Church Hall. Entombment with military honors will follow at MeadowWood Memorial Park.
