Patricia “Pat” Ann (Gayken) Donaldson was born September 26, 1933 in Oklahoma City, OK to Lawrence Sr. and Ruth Helen (Reed) Mollman. She peacefully passed away on November 22, 2019, at the age of 86.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, and her 3 older siblings: Lawrence Mollman Jr., Delories Donovan and Dorothy Raheb. Pat leaves behind her 2 loving children, Vickie Gayken, of the home and David Gayken and his wife, Rachel, of Edmond. She also leaves behind her lovely granddaughter, Sarah Ward and husband Bradley, of Edmond, and their VERY special little girl, Ryleigh Grace, Great-Grandma Pat’s 1st great-grandchild, who just now turns 2 years old.
Pat was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church but recently of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, OK. She attended Capitol Hill High School, then graduating from Mount Saint Mary's in 1951. During her long career, she worked for John A. Brown, Mistletoe Express, Russell Stover Candy, finally retiring from Nuway Cleaners in 1995.
One of Pat’s biggest enjoyments was the weekly lunches she had with her son, David. It became a tradition many, many years ago and continued until her passing. Another was playing Bingo, whether it was at a casino or the local churches, something which seemed to run through the Mollman blood. Pat and Vickie were always taking day/weekend trips around the state, taking in as many craft shows as they could. They had a tradition of attending An Affair of the Heart, four times a year, both here and in Tulsa. They also enjoyed taking many longer trips to California to visit family and annual trips to Denver, CO, especially in early fall, maybe a side trip to Las Vegas… And then there were also the yearly fall trips to Branson, MO and Silver Dollar City, which they thoroughly enjoyed until Pat’s health started slowing her down.
