Gladys touched the hearts of many leaving an emptiness that will be hard to fill. A faithful servant to the Lord, Gladys lived her life like a well loved Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32. "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ."
Gladys was born and raised in Essex County. As a young woman, she became caregiver to her aging mother and guardian to her handicapped sister. Gladys was a retired bookkeeper having worked at SS White Dental Company and then at JC Penny at Rockaway Mall. In her youth, Gladys enjoyed bowling, card games and family visits. In her later years, she moved to Jefferson Township and became an active member of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Sparta.
Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday morning November 30th between 9:30 am - 12:00 noon at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta. Goblefuneral.com.
The family would like to invite you to join them for a celebration of life lunch. Location to be announced after the services. Please let Diane or Linda know if you are able to join us for lunch, we hope you all can join us.
Also, Gladys loved the color red, so we are asking as a tribute to Gladys that if possible you wear something red.
