Renata Miron was born January 19th 1929 at home in Oconomowoc, WI. She was the third of six children of Fred and Ester Krubsack. She was baptized in February 1929 and was confirmed in March 1942 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Oconomowoc. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran Grade School for eight years and graduated from Oconomowoc High School.
She and Russ Miron were married on January 6th 1968 at Peace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, WI. Russ' wife had died two years earlier. He had two children. Bill was 19 and Nancy was 12 when they were married.
Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital first opened in 1954 and she was hired as an office employee. Renata admitted the very first patient two weeks later. Eventually she was promoted to Office Manager and retired as Manager of Internal Audit/Projects in 1990.
Three years after Renata and Russ were married they purchased a small but nice home on a beautiful lot with approximately 90 ft. of lake frontage on Okauchee Lake in Wisconsin. This was a nice area for swimming and fishing. She and Russ enjoyed this area for many years. In 1990 they both retired and moved to Sun City, AZ. Renata became a member of Fountain of Life Church that same year.
At Fountain of Life Church, Renata started out as a volunteer and was employed part-time in various capacities. She served on several committees to include the Building Committee, Endowment Committee, Budget Committee and as the Assistant Treasurer.
Renata's husband, Russ, died in their Sun City home on June 11th 2007 of natural causes. They were married for 40 years. Renata's father, Fred, died in 1966 and her mother, Ester, died in 1984 both of natural causes. Renata's brother, David, died in 1995 of natural causes. His wife, Alice, lives in California with their 2 sons and 1 daughter. Renata's brother, Carl, died in 2000 of natural causes and is survived by 1 son and 2 daughters. Renata's brother, Phil, lives in Milwaukee, WI. Phil's wife, Barbara died of natural causes in 2018. Phil and Barbara have four daughters. Renata's sister. Lois, lives in Princeton, WI. Lois' husband, Frank, died of natural causes in 2007. Frank and Lois have 2 sons and 3 daughters. Renata has 10 nieces, 5 nephews and 29 grand nieces and nephews.
Renata's step-daughter, Nancy, died of natural causes in 2005 at the age of 49. She and her husband Jay had two children, Jason and Ryan, who live in Wisconsin. Jason and his wife Marie have two daughters, Ella and Katie. Renata's step-son, Bill, died of natural causes in 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. Bill is survived by his wife, Marlene and her two daughters, Lia and Jenny.
Renata was loved by her family. She enjoyed going on daily walks with her dog, Foxy. Renata was a fan of baseball and enjoyed going to baseball games with her friend Linda along with other friends and family. She was very active within the church and thoroughly enjoyed her years of service. She was an inspiration to everyone she met and always took time to listen.
