Marion Virginia Lademann (nee Rogan) was born on February 11, 1923 in Harlem, New York City to William D. Rogan and Marion Rogan (nee Traynor). The family moved to South Jamaica and then to Richmond Hill. She graduated in from St. Monica's Elementary School in June 1937. She was given the General Excellence Medal. She then went to Bishop McDonnell High School in Brooklyn where she was a January 1941 graduate. She received a scholarship to attend Brown's Business School. Upon graduation from Brown's she started her business career. She worked for Western Electric for many years until the birth of her daughter Marion in 1964. In 1948, she and friends went for a Labor Day weekend at the Shamrock House in East Durham, New York, where she met Denton Lademann. They were married on her birthday February 11, 1950 at St. Pius V Church in Jamaica, NY, and were married for 45 years. She returned to work in 1977 as a librarian at St. Gregory the Great School. In 1981, she returned to work for Verizon and remained with them until her retirement.
She was predeceased by her husband, parents and her three siblings, William J. (Loretta), Eugene F. (Barbara) and Patricia Armbruster (George J). She is survived by her daughter Marion, son-in-law Kevin Corrigan and granddaughter Kayla.
