Jeannine Gosselin was born on May 27, 1936 in Manitoba, Canada and departed this earth to be with her Lord on November 27, 2019. All services will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Chino, Ca. Rosary services will be Monday evening, December 16, 5:30-8:30. Rosary will be from 6:00-7:00, with visiting hours prior and afterwards. The funeral mass will take place December 17, at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private at a future date.
Jeannine Louise St.Amant was born in St. Jean Baptiste, Manitoba, Canada to Edmond and Jeanne St. Amant, a blacksmith and homemaker, respectively.
Jeannine attended grade 1-12 in her hometown of St.Jean Baptiste. She lived in 'the big city' for a couple of years with her best friend Mona Valcourt. She met her husband Hubert and they married in June, 1958.
She is preceded in death by her parents, baby brother. Bernard, her brother Rene St.Amant and her husband of 53 years, Hubert Andre Gosselin. Her survivors include her sister, Yolande Dupuis, brothers, Gilbert St.Amant, Denis St.Amant, her daughter, Babette Pascoe of Fontana, her son, Andre Gosselin of Chino. Four surviving grandchildren: Brianna (Pascoe) Schultz, Karina Jackson, Trevor Pascoe and Tyler Jackson and two great-grandchildren: Caiden Archuleta and Charlotte Schultz. Also included are several sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and dozens of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Jeannine's name to St. Margaret Mary church building fund of which she was involved as this was her only parish in her 59 years in California. She was devoted to service with the church in many facets and with Kaiser as a patient advocate. She enjoyed working in real estate for 44 years, traveled, laughed a lot and made friends easily. She loved life and it showed.
