Rosemary Zappola, a longtime resident of Copiague L.I., died on Thursday, December 5th, at the age of 68 years.
Rosemary was born July 6th, 1951 in Brooklyn to her parents, Anthony and Ann Zappola. She was raised in Copiague, and graduated from Copiague High School in 1969. She worked in the Dairy industry as a freight clerk for Freshway Distributors in Hicksville. Rosemary enjoyed attending concerts, crocheting, crafts, and socializing with friends & family.
Surviving is her family - her son, Brian; her grandson, Maximillian; her sister, Ann and brother, Robert; & family of nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews and great-great niece. She is preceded by her parents, Anthony and Ann Zappola.
Family and friends will gather for Memorial Visitation on Saturday, January 18th from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. During the visitation the Catholic Wake Service will be offered at 3:00 p.m. by Deacon Phil Mills of Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church.
