Kay Elaine Koppenhaver, 78, of Peachtree City, GA passed away at home, with her family by her side, on December 19, 2019. Kay was the daughter of Lucille (Walters) Farling and Clyde Farling of Hummelstown, PA.
Kay graduated from Hershey Junior College in Hershey, PA. She was a flight attendant for American Airlines. She was a passionate Penn State “Nittany Lions” Football Fan. She enjoyed antiquing, gardening, and the beach but, her true loves were her husband, children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.
Kay is preceded in death by, her loving husband of 38 years, Larry Koppenhaver; her mother, Lucille (Walters) Farling; and her father, Clyde Farling.
Kay is survived by her six children, Jeffery M. Koppenhaver (Caroline), Pamela K. Waverka (John), Jennifer M. Roman (Joseph), Bethanne Hume, Jennifer L. Hunter (Eugene), and Janelle M. Koppenhaver Cacciola (John); eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her brother, Michael K. Farling (Charlene).
A Memorial Celebration for Kay and Larry will be held at 11:00am, on January 18, 2020, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, GA. Her final resting place will be at the Hummelstown Cemetery in Hummelstown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in their memory.
