26, 2019 at her residence. She was born on January 16th 1949 in Gladewater, Texas to
Theo and Nannie Leveritt Johnson. Ms. Ellison was a graduate from White Oak High
School where she was a proud member of the White Oak Marching Band. On August 27,
1967 she married Dewey Kenneth Ellison where they continued to live in White Oak to
raise their children. She was a proud mother to two children: daughter, Sonya Michelle
Ellison and son, Darren Keith Ellison. Over the past 40 years, Ms. Ellison worked in
numerous sewing factories as a seamstress and also worked as a patternmaker at Mike
Bennett Formals. In November 2015, she opened an alteration shop, Sew Much More in
White Oak and operated the shop until she retired earlier this year.
After retiring she moved to Arabella Independent Living in Longview where she
spent her days enjoying lunch at various restaurants, trips to peach/pecan orchards,
concerts, trips to Shreveport, Shakespear festival, Bingo and Wine and Cheese Night with
her friends at Arabella. When the doors of the little green bus opened, she was waiting in
line.
She is survived by her daughter: Sonya Rigano and her husband Hayward of
Kilgore, Tx; grandchildren: Andrew Kenneth Stuckey of Kilgore, Tx, and Trey Stuckey and
his girlfriend Mia Forsyth of Tyler, Tx; brother in law: Roy Ellison and his wife Barbara of
Beckville, Tx, Sisters in law: Denise Ellison, Beckville, Tx, Linda Ellison of Spring, Tx,
Margie Ellison of Norman OK, Carolyn Synoground and her husband Larry of Kilgore, Tx
and Wanda Jean Beal and her husband Brent of Mansfield, Tx., as well as a number of
nieces and nephews. Long time friend, Delores Reid and a special caregiver, Simone
Smith.

Dewey Kenneth Ellison, Son: Darren Keith Ellison, Brother: Dr. Jerry Keith Johnson,
Brother in laws, Bobby Jack Ellison, Tommy Ellison, Jim Ellison, Richard Ellison, Bobby
Joe Deaton and Sister in Law: Elaine Deaton.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 30,
2019 at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
December 2019 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Smith officiating.
The family would like to Thank all the Staff and the Residents of Arabella
Independent Living of Longview for making the last 8 months special for Elizabeth.
