Kevin was born March 25th 1969 at Booth Memorial Hospital, Cleveland Ohio to Miss Annie R McClarty at 9:37am. He grew up in the Glenville Neighborhood on E. 99th, St. Clair. Kevin excelled in academics and maintained a 4.0 GPA from Middle school through High School. His highest skill was drawing (Graphic Art). This became evident while he was still in elementary school drawing comic book superheroes. There were times when he along with his younger brothers (ElQuinn & Michael) and many of the guys from the neighbor would spend entire Saturdays drawing, singing, improving their favorite music bands and yes Martial Arts! Kevin was very loyal and loving to his Mother, Grandmother and Aunt. Also like many youths in the 70’s & 80’s he worked as a Cleveland Press “paperboy”. The schools he attended were Charles H Lake Elementary, Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr High &Lincoln West High School. During highschool he was part of Upward Bound. A summertime college preparatory program to prepare youths for university education. After high school he went on to Bowling Green University for 2 years and Cleveland State University for 1 year. He followed in his step-fathers footsteps and worked for Ajax Bituminous. Most recently he worked for Grover Music Company. Kevin leaves behind his mom Annie R. McClarty. His two brothers ElQuinn McClarty and Michael Pettigrew. 1 Step Brother Mark Partigrew. Niece Shaundra, Nephews Jamero and Aaron His cousins Slyvester Sr. & Jr. and many, friends that were like family who he grew up on E.99th and in Glenville Neighborhood.
